Reeves Group was engaged to support UGL to develop and introduce robust asset management processes with the longer-term goal of establishing a structured Asset Management System (AMS).  Key processes and documents were assembled into a structure that met the requirements of a compliant AMS using ISO 55001:2014.

An integral part of any Asset Management System (AMS) is the ability to identify the continual improvement methodologies and what can trigger these.  Reeves Group developed a clear process that identifies the investigation practices for both reactive (lagging) and proactive (leading) events.  An investigation matrix and processes were developed for a proactive investigation culture using asset information and trends to act before an event causes failure and not wait for an incident to occur.  Relevant tools and competencies were identified for undertaking investigations.
